If you ever needed even more PROOF of just how powerful Internet Marketing was… well a few days ago Brendon Burchard’s new book – the Millionaire Messenger – premiered at #1 on Amazon.com and BN.com.

And in a few days, when the next New York Times bestseller list is announced, there’s a darn good chance it will be near the top of that list as well.
And Brendon has done this ENTIRELY with Internet Marketing. There was no book tour, no TV or radio… he’s not a famous author, and he’s not getting a big push from a fancy New York publisher.
He’s just using the Internet Marketing tactics that we’ve all been honing for the last 10 years. He used his list,…
I remember the first time someone ever bought something from me online. I jumped so high I think I almost punched a hole in the ceiling.
First off, I was amazed that someone would actually buy something from me. And equally amazing was the fact that the person was from Switzerland.

It was hard to fathom that someone from halfway around the world would buy something from me… that I was publishing out of my home in Colorado!
Fast forward 15 years… and I’ve now sold many millions of dollars of stuff online.
And unless you were hiding under a rock, you probably noticed that I released Product Launch Formula last week. As usual, it wasn’t on the market long – we…
I thought you might like a bit of a peak behind-the-curtain into a major product launch that’s happening right now…
As I type this Eben Pagan’s launch for his “Self Made Wealth” program is going to be closing down in a few hours.
And this is a launch that’s had a few twists and turns. It hasn’t been all beauty and grace.
As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, Eben is a good friend of mine and I have huge respect for him and his business training products. I’ve actually attended three different workshops he put on – that was a total of 12 very long days of listening to Eben teach.
And trust me, it takes an awful lot to get me to sit…
I’ve been full-time online entrepreneur since way back 1996, so I’ve seen a few things come down the road. I remember back in those first few years when someone learned that I had a web site… they always asked “can you actually make money doing that?”
Well, times have changed.
But one thing that hasn’t changed is HOW you actually make money. Basically, there’s a lot of different ways to skin a cat, but there are really only two primary ways to make money online…
I’ve used just about every revenue system under the sun since I started out. I’ve sold all kinds of things – from continuity to ebooks to home-study courses to online courses to membership sites…

OK, this might seem weird, but one of the things that often leads to colossal business mistakes is unrelenting optimism.
I mean, if you’re going to be an entrepreneur you pretty much need to be an optimist… you need to have the belief that you can create something out of nothing – because that’s what we all do pretty much every day. And above all else, you need to protect your confidence (and you need to avoid poisoning your brain).
But you have to be careful… because that optimism can get you in trouble.
And this ESPECIALLY true when you get a bunch of entrepreneurs together… say in a mastermind group or a team meeting.
Lots of times, when you get a group like…
I don’t put on a lot of live events, but when I do there are a few things you can count on… it will be packed with content, it won’t be a pitchfest, there will be lots of amazing people in the room… and there’s going to be some major surprises…
But at my Product Launch Manager event last year, I even surpassed my own expectations when I managed to get Jay Abraham and Eben Pagan on stage AT THE SAME TIME… here’s a video clip from that historic occasion:

Last year I wrote a note about this weird thing I call the “Discipline of Gratitude” – and it got a bigger reaction than almost anything I’ve ever published… so I decided to re-run it here now that I’ve got an “official” blog.
And I couldn’t think of a better day to publish it than on Thanksgiving…
This is something I do my best to practice every day… but of course I’m not perfect (by ANY stretch of the imagination.)
But I’ve noticed a direct correlation between the amount of GRATITUDE I have during the day and how those days go for me.
I’ve also noticed that the more gratitude I have in my life, and the more I hang out with other people with…

Imagine two musicians… one who plays a $3.5 million dollar violin and can sell out an entire auditorium at $100 a seat… and one who plays for people’s spare change in a train station.
What’s the difference between the two musicians?
Well, in at least one case… there is almost no difference at all.
This is a true story that’s fascinated me since I heard it a couple of years ago…
Joshua Bell, an internationally acclaimed viruoso violinist tried a bit of an experiment. He took his Stradivarius (worth $3.5 million) down to a Washington Metro train station and played for tips for about 45 minutes.
It’s important to note that Joshua Bell is a true star in the classical music world – just three…

How do you publish a book 100 years after your death, and have it become an instant bestseller?
Mark Twain just did that.
Yesterday when I purchased his just-released autobiography, it was ranked #4 on the Amazon bestseller list… which is completely amazing.
After all, Mark Twain died 100 years ago… in 1910.
And all this without an “Amazon book launch”… without an appearance on Oprah… without a book tour… how do you do that?
Well first off, Mark Twain was an enormously popular and influential writer in the 19th and early 20th centuries. His novel “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” is clearly one of the seminal works of American literature.
Second, Twain left explicit instructions to NOT publish his work until 100 years after…

At my recent PLF Live Event I had someone come up to me and ask me what the ONE THING was… the one thing that has meant all the difference for me and my success – the one thing he should focus on as his business grows.
And that’s a really tough question!
When people ask me how they should get started… well, that’s easy. I always tell them to start building a list. And the second thing is to only focus on selling stuff that you know the people on that list really want. If you stick to those two things, it’s hard to go wrong with your online business.
But what’s the one most important thing to focus on in your business? The…
