I know it sounds a little counterintuitive, but the first step in your marketing shouldn’t be about convincing people why your product is so great. There’s something much more important that needs to happen first, before your ‘future customers’ will ever be ready to buy…

    • Yes, this inspires me a little to record the same kind of video today, from my place in the universe, for my tribe of potential clients & co-captains! Peace ~

  1. Jeff, really enjoy watching your videos. They are truly inspirational. Have been following your reports on and off for about 5 years now – after being introduced to you by one of your business partners. Then I bought your “launch” book and read it cover to cover. Twice! Keep up the good stuff and I hope to be applying your teaching to a project – if I have the patience to follow through! All the best.

  2. Thanks for the reminder Jeff to bring more of our personal lives into our marketing to show people what’s truly possible. Something I forget to do, yet I’ve managed to create a pretty awesome life for myself! Enjoy your trip!

  3. Thank you so much for continuing to take the time to share this great education and inspiration with us. Really great and needed this content today – my husband and I both working on our products, marketing, etc.! You are one of the keynotes of our lives that keep us moving forward. Heartfelt thanks!!!

  4. Thanks Jeff for sharing the fact that you don’t Have to start preping a year in advance for a launch.
I’m excited to get the first one under my belt very soon and appreciate your helpful valuable guidance and expertise!!!

This was very inspiring. The issue I am facing right now is identifying what I want. I want to be free to do whatever I want. I write but writing isn’t living but more about describing life and experiences so now its looking and getting clear about what’s next.

  7. It’s funny, isn’t it? How we can get to a place in life, so content (or not) with what we’re doing, and just keep rolling along as if that’s the only way of life. Meanwhile others live their life as the captain of their ship!

Thank you for the reminder, Jeff! Time to do some external exploration.

    Hey Jeff,
I am reading your book and watching your videos. No doubt you are a great motivator, almost everything you say is designed to perk one up, needless to say it’s not as easy as you make it sound. There is a tremendous amount work ahead if one wants to be successful, did I say Tremendous! I wish you focus on that part more and not down play it.

Ops! This is a post-post remark! I want to extend an apology to Jeff, as I had not read beyond chapter 9 when I made the above remarks. You go out of your way to explain in a granular way as to what it takes to make a successful ‘Launch’!!! You pour your heart into it, you repeat and remind to make it clear as to what it takes to do this and certainly are not down playing it. My gratitude for being so transparent and patient even when your readers don’t get it right!
Thank you for your magnificent work!

  11. Great message Jeff! Spent some time on Vieques Island when I was in the Army. We would go down to do naval gunfire training 2-3 times a year. Many good memories. One special one involved the Vigilantes, the island police back in the day. Thanks for sharing.
