  2. Nice work guys!!! Our podcast is the Boiling Point Podcast (find on iTunes) and I was inspired to start a podcast when I went to NMX and saw John Lee Dumas speak! Jeff, see you in Phoenix!

Awesome interview Jeff and John Lee Dumas. It’s fantastic that John is rebranding in a very thoughtful and well planned way. Until this past week I have been in the corporate world. I have seen many companies with multi million dollar rebranding project totally fail and destroy their customer base. John is doing it right. Thank you Jeff for bringing this to us.

  5. Good stuff! I like the authenticity both of you bring – JLD saying that podcasting will always have a market, but it won’t be THE thing; Jeff just going straight to camera. It’s tough to be someone other than who you are than when on camera. Well done, gentlemen.

  6. JLD as you’re rebranding you might want to think about what the end game with your company will be. If you don’t care if the business lasts past you, then using your name as the main draw for your business is fine. But, and this is a big but, if you want the business to last past you, then using your name as your brand will make it hard for someone at some point to buy your business. One of the things I’ve learned over the years is a new owner is not interested in you, they are interested in the cash flow and seeing that cash flow continue after you’re not there anymore. If you make the company about you, then it becomes much more difficult for a potential buyer to pull the trigger.

  7. Jeff you have a business that can work from your laptop

  8. I habitually look for the next episode of the launch life and have been sad. Great to hear it’s coming back. Nice to see JLD updating himself and his brand. I enjoyed being one of his 2000 podcasts. Very fun!

  9. Thanks Jeff and JLD. Great video. I love the entusiasm that JLD shows. It is contagious. See you guys in Phoenix.

  10. Guys, THANK YOU! I’ve had it suggested that I start a podcast and admit, was overwhelmed at next steps. I can handle 3 things. Great break down of how to start.

  11. Thanks Jeff, good show! I had a podcast and YouTube show for several years and developed quite a following. The content creation and publishing was more time consuming than my blogs. It was like I was writing the content then producing the content then publishing the content. I loved it, but… if I had a team of people who helped with all the facets…maybe I’d do them again. Many of my blogs seem to just keep getting more and more traffic. Whereas my weekly podcast or YouTubes were over and done, not much mileage for the time spent. I’m about to start a membership site as a spin off of one of my blogs for people who follow me and want even more content. Hope what I’ve shared is helpful to someone.

  12. Thanks for that podcast. I wish someone would help me focus on just one topic! I have too many to discuss.
