I’m sitting here reflecting on something incredible – 19 years of Product Launch Formula®. That’s right. We’re officially stepping into our 20th year.
PLF has been a part of so many lives, so many businesses, and so many transformations over the years. And here’s the best part: we’re not slowing down.
In fact, we’ve got huge plans ahead. Let’s dive in and talk about how PLF came to be, why it’s still the go-to system for launches, and what’s coming next.
The Evolution of Product Launch Formula
A few months ago, I did something I hadn’t done in years – I completely rebuilt Product Launch Formula.
We didn’t just tweak a few things or add a new video here and there. No, this was a full overhaul:
- All-new videos: Every module was reshot from the ground up to reflect the latest strategies.
- Streamlined structure: The course is now more consumable than ever while still covering more ground.
- Fresh tactics: The core strategies remain timeless, but we’ve gone deep on the tactics that have evolved over time.
I worked with some of the best instructional design experts, editors, and video teams to make this happen. And after months of hard work, we were ready to release the best version of PLF yet.
What Makes PLF Different After All These Years?
You might be wondering: how does PLF stay relevant after all this time?
The answer is simple – it delivers results.
Here’s the thing: in the 20 years since PLF launched, countless “launch courses” have popped up. But they all trace their roots back to PLF. Whether directly or indirectly, they’ve borrowed from what we built.
Meanwhile, we’re focused on one thing: getting better and better.
→ We listen to PLF Owners and refine the system to make it even more effective.
→ We stay ahead by updating the tactics while keeping the core strategies rock solid.
→ And we never stop focusing on what matters – helping people create life-changing launches.
That’s why people come back to PLF. It’s not about gimmicks or hype. It’s about results.
The Ripple Effect of PLF
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been seeing the ripple effect PLF creates.
It’s not just about launches or even businesses – it’s about the lives transformed along the way.
Take, for example, the PLF Owner who used the system to build a dog-training business, making life better for thousands of pet owners. Or the one who launched an echocardiogram training program, improving healthcare practices around the world. Others have gone on to create mindfulness programs, parenting resources, and fitness courses that are helping people every single day.
It’s incredible to think that something I started in my little mountain town in Colorado could have this kind of impact. These stories remind me, over and over again, why I’m so passionate about what I do.
The Biggest Lesson I’ve Learned
Over the years, people have asked me how I’ve stayed focused on one thing for so long. The truth? It hasn’t always been easy.
One of the most pivotal moments in my life came wrapped in a gut punch.
Years ago, my partner in my first business called me out of the blue and told me he was taking all our paying prospects to start a competing business.
It was devastating. Overnight, my business was gone.
But that moment forced me to act.
I rebuilt – starting from scratch – and created something far bigger and better. And looking back, I see it as one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.
If you’re facing a challenge right now, remember this:
Sometimes, the hardest moments are the ones that lead to the biggest breakthroughs.
Why I’m Still Fired Up About PLF
After all these years, I’m as excited about PLF as I was the day it launched.
Every success story I hear from PLF Owners reminds me of why I do this. And it’s not just their success – it’s the success they create for others.
That ripple effect? It never gets old.
This isn’t just another year for PLF. It’s the start of something big.
