As someone who doesn’t naturally gravitate toward the spotlight, being on stage can be intense, but it’s also incredible.

There’s something energizing about standing in front of smart, driven entrepreneurs, sharing the things I’ve learned, and helping people move forward.

I’ve spoken at a mastermind event with Hay House, where I joined about 30 of their top authors.

And I’ve spoken at Copy Chief Live, where I connected with a whole room of copywriters. Meanwhile, I’ve spoken at my own Mastermind meetings.

Each room was full of people making waves in their own way, from six-figure startups to businesses scaling into the seven- and eight-figure range.

When Real-Life Wins Are Your Best Teacher

No matter what stage I’ve been on, I’ve seen people succeeding at levels that might seem out of reach to others. From entrepreneurs running seven-figure webinars to businesses launching products in niches you wouldn’t believe, there have been an endless stream of inspiring stories. 

There’s power in example. Seeing others succeed at such high levels made everyone in the room think, “If they can do it, I can do it, too.” And that’s something that works in every area of life – business, sports, relationships, you name it.

Why Success Stories Matter

We all need examples to guide us. When you see someone else overcoming obstacles, it reminds you that success isn’t reserved for the “lucky” ones. It’s there for anyone who’s willing to learn, put in the effort, and follow a path that works.

Take my Launch Club members, for example. These are people launching new ventures, growing their impact, and scaling their businesses – many of them moving from six-figure incomes into seven, eight, and even nine figures.

Seeing them share their journeys – from initial challenges to massive wins – is a powerful reminder of what’s possible.


The beauty of examples is that they give us something real to look up to. You could view others' success with envy or jealousy, but what if instead, you see it as proof?

Proof that if they can do it, so can you. Look at the hurdles they faced, the strategies they implemented, and the persistence they showed.

Every time I meet someone who has faced more challenges than I have and still managed to succeed, I ask myself, “What can I learn from this?” That’s the fuel that keeps me moving forward.

Scaling a Business Through Results

Ultimately, my focus has always been on results. Scaling a business isn’t about flash and hype; it’s about delivering real outcomes that people can count on.

This has been the backbone of PLF’s success. When my clients see results, they talk about it, and that word-of-mouth is invaluable.

So here’s my takeaway:

A great example is worth more than any marketing tactic out there. Whether you’re scaling your own business or simply looking to improve in any area of life, find the people who are already succeeding.

Study them. Learn from them. And most importantly, let their stories fuel your own journey.
