I had an opportunity to sit down with Tony Robbins and talk about what it really takes to achieve success in business and in life. Here’s some of what we talked about…

  • Why living “a balanced life” might not make you happy (and what you should strive for instead)
  • Tony’s “90-second-rule” that helps you get back into a state of happiness, no matter what negative things are happening in your life
  • The two common emotions that destroy most people’s personal and financial lives… and how to get these feelings under control

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This one’s a little bit longer than my usual blog videos, but it’s well worth it…

Jeff, always enjoy your videos, but this one was a cut above and well worth the extra time, in fact wish it had been longer. I am an admitted Tony Robbins sceptic (who can stay that positive?), but a light went off, it’s time to redefine my life’s mission, as well as how I view things and even more difficult, myself, and get back to my core being, and that is helping other people wherever and whenever I can, and expand upon that purpose. Many thanks to you, and Tony, and apologies for doubting his sincerity and purpose. As for you Jeff, keep on trucking!

  1. Jeff,
What an inspiring group of videos and thoughts you shared. That was a great interview with Tony Robbins, too. Thank you so much for what you are doing!!

  2. I really enjoyed this interview. I am in the right place to really hear what is being said and I will be acting on it.

  3. This interview with Tony Robbins is gold! Thank you both for sharing your thoughts, your humor, your impact. One hour packed with all wisdom you need to have for a wonderful and abundant life! Thank you.

  4. What an impact! This video’s message is a helpful gift. It has history and change ideas. It talks about putting loss, less and nothing into perspective and looking for beautiful states. It discusses inspiration to action that is good for you — but not for everyone. Tony mentions natural states and gratitude! Thank you Jeff and Tony for inspiring, teaching, and more personal development that matters.

  5. Thanks Jeff. As always, when I watch your weekly videos I have an “aha” moment. Today, it was an “AHA!!!!!” moment. I just turned 55 a couple of weeks back and nothing fell off so I figured good time for a life change. Actually, with your influences and those of others, this change has been in the works for a while. I’ll be retiring out of a nice government job in May and I have a pretty interesting info product in the works, which I will PLF the bejesus out of later this summer. I’ve been trying to figure out my end game a bit and today, I realized that I will have a modest pension which is enough to keep food on the table, my wife will still be working for a while longer, and we were smart with some of our money over the years so I don’t have to focus in on earning a bunch of money for the sake of our lifestyle and survival. Rather, I can focus a big part of the revenue I generate around giving and charity. Nothing new here. We give to a number of local charities fairly regularly. But the “AHA” was when you and Tony were talking about your work with World Teacher Aid, and I made a connection between what my info product will be about and the need to help educate kids in that domain, and more importantly to be able to help give them the skills so they can be educated. Thanks so very much for that.

  6. Get out of the scarcity mindset, give even when you can’t, and set aside money for compound interest. Good basic principles whether you’re a high-powered extrovert like Tony or a more self-contained introvert like you.
    Thanks for this, Jeff

  7. Thanks Jeff for sharing your interview with Tony Robbins. My favorite part was when Tony discussed his 90-second rule for dealing with anxiety. Such a simple tool and effective to boot! would love to see you do more interviews with thought leaders in your space sharing the hard-earned wisdom they’ve learned. Thanks again and I’m going to go get ’em this week!

  8. Jeff, I can’t believe how relaxed and happy you look after your visit with Tony. Your whole face has changed and shows a confidence and peace that I’ve seen in you before. You’re always upbeat but this is even more. You need to keep this video and watch it on a regular basis. I know I will too. Tony has a philosophy of life that rings so true to the basics of what life is really all about. Thanks for sharing that interview with all of us.

  9. This is so worthwhile, Jeff, that it’s time for a FAMILY SEMINAR! Can’t wait! I think we’ll divide it into 3 parts and really hash it out to find practical ways to implement to our current situation. Your videos have been an important part of our kid’s education (us big, “Mom & Dad kids”, too) – this one’s Platinum! Can’t thank you enough ~

Hi Jeff: What a great, enjoyable, interesting interview! Loved it! Thank you and Tony for spreading plus sharing your wisdoms!

  11. Both of you are incredible! thank you so much for this interview and insights. It reminds me that really really I can choose my happiness at every single moment of my life. Lots of Love!

  12. Fabulous, have had the book for 2 weeks, tonite, cracking the cover. Great hour spent and enjoyed your chemistry with Tony. Cheers.

  13. Thank you so much, Jeff, for giving us a private hour with Tony Robbins. Wow. So personal and special to see him conversing in an armchair in his own home with a friend. Though obviously it was a promotion (an incredibly effective one), it was packed as always with uplifting philosophy, this time from one of the greatest inspirers and entrepreneurs of all time. I’m extremely privileged and grateful to have sat in on that. 🙂
My late father had the same approach to life (the 90-second rule, though he didn’t have a name for it) and I could never figure out how he so consistently LOVED LIFE, despite even being bedridden his last 5 1/2 years. He even actually grew younger in his 90’s. And today Tony explained the precise formula for how it’s done. Mystery solved.
I’d been working on it, but with a certain vagueness. My efforts now feel really clarified by Tony’s passionate take. I think it’s called Truth.
Great, great interview. I’m down for these longer ones any ol’ time. You da man.

  14. Love it! I’d already read 30% of Unshakeable but had not heard Tony talk. More impressed than ever. Raised my wish vibrations just listening to the interview. I was doing lengths of the pool behind you 🙂

Ahhhh this is so timely. I loved hearing it all. Especially the ‘suffering’ and to get out of it while it’s a baby monster lol. And it still amazes me that we have such universal thoughts like money and health worries. The collective consciousness.
    Off to get Unshakeable!

  16. I tuned in as I am an admirer of Jeff Walker, and really enjoyed watching both men as they have true joy. Listening to Tony I know the secret of his joy and success is giving to others in need. Both men were careful not to mention religion, but both are following the Golden Rule: Love others as you Love yourself. Jesus said whatever you give to others He will give back a hundred fold. This is true for both men. They give to others knowing that money alone never brings happiness; charity to others bring that inner happiness. Both men are truly kind men and are great husbands and fathers, passing on that kindness first to their families and then to those who need their help. They both earned their money by hard, long hours of work and they now try to help others to achieve and earn funds to also help others. God has blessed both men.

  17. What a stellar convergence of T.R. and J.W.!
Thanks so much for posting your Talk with Tony, Jeff!

So many inspiring gifts! Didn’t know Tony is actively involved in the Oneness University. Loved the teaching about beautiful flow state vs. suffering / tension / ego state, and Tony’s recommendations for recognizing and shifting.
Great applied REminders of his all-time-classic: An Attitude of Gratitude.
Yes, it’s an ‘inside job’ that’s unconditional in relation to outer events like: expecting / waiting for a reason to be grateful and happy for, otherwise there’s no real freedom in this and the concern / suffering tension is always around the corner.
Giving less power to the mind’s games and ‘hooks’ (“loss, less, never” are great ones to catch), and choosing appreciation and love which are game changers! 🙂

Loved also the inspiration to move into generosity which shifts from scarcity to abundance mode.

  18. This is so amazing! Two of the greatest Minds, one who mastered the key to material and money – the outside Wealth and the other, who is a true Master of the Inner Wealth! Amazing content and sharing! Two Monsters of Humanity Growth MUST WATCH post!

Appreciate, Gratitude and Love for this!

  19. Awesome interview Jeff!!! Thanks for reposting! I led and participated in teams that put Tony onstage in the early to mid-1980s. We organized and promoted Firewalks and Fear into Power in Cobo Hall & helped run certifications in Palm Springs,Scottsdale, Snowmass & more. Great years – great changing of the course of our lives. LOVE Tony’s mission, purpose & lifework greatly affecting change in the course of human culture. xxoo

  20. It’s great to see that Tony still got it! I did his training 26 years ago and it directed the course of my life as well. Thanks for the interview!

  21. Absolutely amazing!
Every single topic hit home for me.
Need to get out of my head. Although I know the tools to use, I have to be honest and say I haven’t been using them lately, which was taking me to somewhat of a downward spiral.
Have to get back on the saddle and move forward.
Thank you so much for this video. Very inspirational to say the least.

  22. Wow great interview with Toni. Really eye opening. Thank you so much Jeff and Toni.

Tony Robbins beams with confidence! His age, personal financial and social status, the experience gained with those many years on his shoulders and “borrowed” wisdom from Indian philosophy allows him to lead a full life which he can preach well to anyone confused. Congratulations Tony, you have earned it! However, you did not get to the later part in this video how best to save and invest if you are over 50’s

  24. Awesome Jeff! Thanks for continually showing up and bringing your game. It was a great interview! Some new stuff for me from minute 38 to 55 or so. With much gratitude. Mark

  25. Jeff, thank you for the inspiration you provide in every video…this one was special with Tony Robbins…he is an inspiration to all of us and so are you. I appreciate your genuineness…your insights into being an entrepreneur…especially I love your encouragement and your constant reminder about “baby steps” I believe that has propelled many of us forward even when we were afraid and did not know what we were doing. Thank you for your consistent kind presence. Warm regards, Barbara

Amazing video interview……inspiring with “beautiful state” thoughts.
Thank you so much for sharing Jeff.

  27. What an awesome video Jeff! I loved every minute of it. I’ve watched you and Tony both in a ton of videos in the past, but this one was a step above. It was so inspiring and fun to watch you guys together, and you really hit the nail on the head with shifting our thinking not from what’s in it for me to what impact can I have on the world with my not only my message, but with my money. It took me a long time to realize this, and I know you’ve just impacted everyone who watched this tremendously.
