I thought you might like a bit of a peak behind-the-curtain into a major product launch that’s happening right now…
As I type this Eben Pagan’s launch for his “Self Made Wealth” program is going to be closing down in a few hours.
And this is a launch that’s had a few twists and turns. It hasn’t been all beauty and grace.
As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, Eben is a good friend of mine and I have huge respect for him and his business training products. I’ve actually attended three different workshops he put on – that was a total of 12 very long days of listening to Eben teach.

I’ve been full-time online entrepreneur since way back 1996, so I’ve seen a few things come down the road. I remember back in those first few years when someone learned that I had a web site… they always asked “can you actually make money doing that?”
Well, times have changed. 
But one thing that hasn’t changed is HOW you actually make money. Basically, there’s a lot of different ways to skin a cat, but there are really only two primary ways to make money online…
I’ve used just about every revenue system under the sun since I started out. I’ve sold all kinds of things – from continuity to ebooks to home-study courses to online courses to membership sites…

One of the big reasons I’m where I’m at today is because about 15 years ago, after watching the infomercial over and over… I suspended my disbelief long enough to buy Tony Robbins “Personal Power 2″ home-study course off that late-night commercial.
At the time my life was totally flat lining – I wasn’t going anywhere, and I had no prospects. And I had almost no money whatsoever. Spending that $129 was a HUGE decision.
But, like I said… I suspended my disbelief, and I went ahead and picked up the phone and ordered the product.
As soon as the product came, I tore into it. I followed every single step, and I did EXACTLY what Tony told me to do. I was desperate…

Jeff here, reporting from the eye of the hurricane… or at least that’s what my office feels like right now.
I’m in the midst of the launch of my Product Launch Formula 3.0 coaching program. The launch is going great – but when you’re in the middle of one of these epic launches… well, things get a bit crazy at times.
Of course, I’m not the ONLY one in the middle of a launch – Apple’s rolling out their iPhone 4 – and well, they crashed their server. Or more accurately, their network.

So last week, after a couple of months of preparation, I rolled out this new blog and published the very first post… and then I emailed my list to tell everyone about it.
And the server crashed.
Which was really, really lame… but on one level it was sorta funny – because there’s this “conspiracy theory” out there about people intentionally crashing their servers during product launches.
The only problem with that theory is that it’s completely insane. It would be an idiotic move.
OK, so once and for all… just in case there is any confusion – NO ONE who has a clue wants their server to go down when they launch. It’s a horror show and an embarrassment when it happens.
